MoreDanny Marx Young- Singer & Sound Engineer
Danny's voice and engineering work has made it to every network on Australian TV as well as Australian Films from jingles to Theme Songs. In 2006 Danny penned a Song for The FIFA World Cup which reached an audience of over 4 billion throughout Asia and the Pacific, and South Africa.
In 2020 Danny teamed up with a stellar cast of Aussie musicians ( Russell Morris, Angry Anderson, Dave Gleeson, Killing Heidi, Kevin Bloody Wilson) in a song penned by Comedian Chris Franklin called “Stay the Fuck at home” which has been viewed over 2.5 million times and spawned various different versions for different countries.
It was after High School that Danny started his performance career, travelling to Germany. He was performing 30 dates in 35 days, which further fuelled his passion for being an entertainer / frontman. Upon his return, Young started a rock band where he entertained the local surf scene whilst building a following.
Young came through to win a national song contest presented by 2DayFM’s Ugly Phil, with their song Waking Up.
Young looked to bigger and better things as he established an originals band called Circlework. Touring the East Coast of Australia, the band played pubs, entertainment centres and venues that catered for all-ages.
It was then that Circlework began working with legendary producer Harry Vanda, who is renowned for his work writing and producing hits for a number of groups and solo singers including John Paul Young (Danny’s father), Rose Tattoo, The Angels and AC/DC.
Liaising with the likes of Billy Thorpe and Molly Meldrum, Young received plenty of feedback in his time which included Billy Thorpe’s glowing review which claimed that Danny Marx Young had a singing style that stood out from other singers in the industry.
After the passing of Billy Thorpe, Danny took to the stage as front man for the Aztecs to Sing their Iconic Songs.
Amongst various singing gigs and engineering in Newcastle and Sydney, Young was scouted to sing for a new Australian megaband under Vanda’s Production and Management.
Danny participated on the soundtrack for Australian film Razzle Dazzle doing a blistering cover of Angry Andersons "Bound For Glory" and also recording Vocals for Israeli troup Global warming and Pavex (Crystal Lake) recently being signed by Dutch Superstar Dj Jan Waynes label Cuepoint Records.
